With Ardilla, Patricia Urquiola transforms the teapot into a sculptural gesture — a ceramic object that transcends function to become pure expression. Crafted for LOEWE’s 2025 teapot commission, the piece embraces asymmetry, volume, and a distinct tactile presence. Its form evokes both the familiar and the fantastical, as if drawn from memory and remade through clay. Like a character paused mid-motion, Ardilla sits with intention — a meditation on craft, imagination, and the ritual of tea reimagined as art.
